It is conveniently situated close The channel tunnel at Folkestone, Eurostar at Ashford International Station and the port of Dover. At the junction of the A28 and the A251 Chilham is a great stopover for tourists visiting both Leeds’ Castle and Canterbury. This beautiful ancient village, with its medieval square, and the imposing presence of Chilham Castle, gives access to an exquisite landscape of woodland and open country with breathtaking views.

The Woolpack Inn can offer overnight packages with its 14 bedrooms offering accommodation for up to 37 guests in a range of bedrooms including family rooms, four posters and rooms with disabled facilities. The bedrooms are decorated in keeping with the Inn with rooms 16, 17 and 18 having housed a stables, workhouse, garage and chapel in their time.

With recommendations from ‘Hotels and more’ and ‘Mirabel’ tours, amongst others, menus can be arranged to suit both occasion and budget. With over 30 years of experience schedules are easily adhered to with effective turnaround times. This award winning inn is proud to be a finalist in The beautiful South tourist awards 2012 and runner up in The Kent Times Restaurant of the Year 2011. Serving a home-cooked menu with locally sourced ingredients, simple home-cooked food is the order of the day. This Inn also offers an ideal spot to stop for a traditional afternoon tea of sandwiches, scones and home-made cakes. Lunches are usually served in the restaurant but the beautifully enclosed patio area provides an al fresco alternative allowing guests to sit outside. Smaller parties can sit in the bar with its vast oak beams and inglenook fireplace.
